10th October 2013

Global legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright has been ranked seventh in the Acritas Sharplegal 2013 Global Elite Brand Index – a rise of two places from 2012.

The index tracks the value of brands in the global legal market.

In the fourth annual index of global law firms published by Acritas Sharplegal, Norton Rose Fulbright is one of only a handful of legal brands which, according to the accompanying report, has “consistently gained strength” over the life of the index.

It is the second year running the practice has risen up the rankings, having previously jumped up 6 places to 9th position in 2012.

Rob Otty, managing director, Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa said:

“This is fantastic and I am proud of what our team has achieved. It just goes to show what can happen when a firm puts in a unified and tireless effort.”

Acritas Sharplegal 2013 Global Elite Brand Index ranks the global law firms with the highest brand equity, as viewed by senior decision-makers in elite global companies i.e. those with revenues of $1bn and above. The data is derived from more than 800 interviews across 55 countries.
