GOOD ready to contest elections on the national and all 9 provincial ballots

The GOOD party has registered to contest the upcoming general elections on the national ballot, as well as all nine provincial ballots, come 29 May 2024.

The required deposit of R750,000 has been paid to the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to register GOOD for our second general election.

GOOD is also on track to submit our candidate list before the deadline of Friday, 8 March 2024 following an extensive candidate assessment process conducted over the past weeks.

We are confident and excited about our list of candidates who are ready to step forward and serve the people of South Africa.

GOOD contested the previous general elections just three months after we were established in February 2019. Despite a late start then, GOOD was one of two new parties to get enough support to win two seats in the National Assembly and enter the Western Cape Provincial Legislature.

In the 2021 Local Government Election we contested only 40 municipalities which saw 51 GOOD councillors elected in four provinces.

We have continued to show significant growth in members and supporters, as is evident in the various by-election outcomes.

Following the formalities of registering for the National and Provincial Elections GOOD Leader, Patricia De Lille, will launch our election manifesto on Saturday 16 March 2024.
