Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe to address Heritage Day celebrations in the Eastern Cape Province

Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe will on Tuesday, 24 September 2013, address the National Heritage Day Celebrations at Mdantsane, in the Buffalo Metropolitan Municipality, Eastern Cape Province.
 
The theme for this year’s National Heritage Day Celebrations is “Reclaiming, Restoring and Celebrating our Living Heritage” that foreground the country’s cultural heritage as a tool to foster national pride and unity.
 
As part of the National Heritage Celebrations in Mdantsane, Deputy President Motlanthe will unveil the Egerton Bus Boycott Massacre Memorial Site, and lay a wreath to pay respect to the victims of the fateful massacre of 1983.
