DEPUTY MINISTER MANANA TO VISIT KAMAGUGU COMBINED INCLUSIVE SCHOOL

The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Mduduzi Manana, MP, will visit Kamagugu Combined Inclusive School in Nelspruit, in the Mpumalanga Province on Thursday, 23 February 2017 as part of promoting “Post-School Opportunities for People with Disabilities”.

The purpose of the campaign is to encourage learners to pursue post-school learning opportunities and further advise them on ways to apply for funding.

The Post-School Education and Training (PSET) institutions such as Universities, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, Sector Education and Training Authority’s (SETAs), National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) and the department’s Khetha Career Development Services will be on sight to exhibit on the day.

The programme will contribute to the government’s intention of mainstreaming issues of persons with disabilities in the PSET sector.
