The Northern Cape public health system, on which approximately 70% of the province’s population depend, has gone from very bad to worse, largely eroding the rights of residents to basic healthcare.

Tomorrow, on the same day that the Health Department is scheduled to present its Annual Report for 2020/2021 to the legislature, which depicts the shocking deterioration of healthcare in the province, the Democratic Alliance’s Provincial Leader, Harold McGluwa, together with provincial Spokesperson of Health, Dr Isak Fritz, will make an important announcement.
