Tomorrow, 16 September 2021, the DA Leader, John Steenhuisen, will host a media briefing and small walkabout in Stellenbosch Municipality to outline this flagship DA municipality’s successes and showcase how the DA can bring this model of excellence to municipalities across the country. Fixing South Africa starts by fixing our small towns and growing local economies.

Steenhuisen will be joined by Stellenbosch Mayor, Gesie Van Deventer; DA Chief Whip, Natasha Mazzone MP; DA Shadow Ministers, Dr Leon Schreiber MP, Kevin Mileham MP, and Jan De Villiers MP; as well as local DA councillors and members of the public.

The leadership will also have one-on-one interactions with voters ahead of the Registration Weekend.

From fighting for electricity independence, world-class service delivery and its progressive indigent policy — Stellenbosch is a blueprint of a functioning local municipality where the DA-government has proved that where we govern we things done.
