AfriForum welcomes the announcement of the ANC’s National Executive Committee (NEC) to recall President Jacob Zuma as Head of State and adds that the organisation will intensify its efforts to ensure Zuma’s prosecution.

A campaign in this regard will be launched soon.

Kallie Kriel, CEO of AfriForum, says that the organisation will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the National Prosecuting Agency (NPA) prosecutes Zuma.

“If the NPA refuses to prosecute Zuma, AfriForum’s private prosecuting unit led by Adv. Gerrie Nel will institute private prosecution.”
