ActionSA has claimed that the Venda Building Society (VBS) Mutual Bank case will resume on July 17 in Gauteng following the High Court’s dismissal of the applications made on behalf of Danny Msiza and Kabelo Matsepe, two of the suspects in the case.

The party asserted that this particular case had taken a long time to ensue but it remained encouraged at the prospect that those charged may be brought to court and prosecuted for their alleged crimes.

Noting that the bank heist took place in Limpopo, ActionSA has alluded to substantial fraud taking place at municipalities in the province.

Further, the party also raised the importance of bringing justice to the victims of this fraud.

“ActionSA Limpopo takes this opportunity to appeal to the criminal justice system in South Africa to prioritise this case and make sure that justice takes its course. The hundreds of victims of this heist have been waiting for too long without knowing what is happening,” the party said.

The party will soon announce action it will be taking to sustain this case.
