PROPOSED MEETING OF OPPOSITION LEADERS ON 2 FEBRUARY 2018
Compliments!
Given that the Speaker of Parliament, Ms Baleka Mbethe, has postponed her meeting with the leaders of political parties in Parliament to 6 February 2018, I propose that we, as leaders of opposition, meet on 2 February 2018 at OR Tambo Inter-Continental Hotel at 10:00.
The purpose of the meeting would be to discuss the following:
- The State of the Nation Address.
- The proposal of the Economic Freedom Fighters for a Vote of No-Confidence in President Zuma, on, or before, 8 February 2018.
- Pending matters of the Independent Electoral Commission.
Please do not hesitate to add any item you deem fit for discussion.
If this proposal is accepted, we should have a media briefing after the meeting at 13.00.
