The world premiere of ‘The Gold Rhino of Mapungubwe’ ballet took place at the State Theatre on April 26.
The ballet is a multi-faceted celebration of history and heritage through captivating ballet/dance narration and choreography, original music compositions and spectacular costume-, jewellery- and set- designs. It was created through a collaboration by leading South African and international artists: you can find out more about this illustrious line-up and the ballet here.
Dancers from South Africa, as well as Cuba, China and South Korea, will feature.
The production runs from April 26 to 30 at the State Theatre, in Pretoria.
