Stage 5 loadshedding will continue until 16:00 on Tuesday - followed by Stage 6 overnight until 05:00 Wednesday, Eskom said in a statement.
This comes as four generating units have gone offline.
"This pattern of implementing stage 5 loadshedding from 05:00 to 16:00 and stage 6 loadshedding from 16:00 to 05:00 will be repeated daily until Friday morning," Eskom said.
