As many as 14 partners from specialist, full service international intellectual property law firm Spoor & Fisher have been listed as IP Stars for 2016 in the recently announced awards by Managing IP. MIP is a leading resource for news and analysis on all intellectual property developments worldwide.
Spoor & Fisher was also named “Best Intellectual Property Law Firm in South Africa” for 2016 by Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) earlier this year.
The IP Stars research covers the most active markets for IP protection, exploitation and enforcement globally. The awards are announced following an extensive research conducted via surveys and interviews over a six-month period (October to March) by an experienced team based in London, New York and Hong Kong.
The research is rigorous and is based purely on merit and recommendation by peers and clients making the MIP IP Stars acknowledgement one of the most prestigious and credible awards available to IP practitioners.
Spoor & Fisher is represented by the following partners on the IP Stars 2016 list - Craig Kahn, Jean McIvor, Wayne Meiring, Lance Abramson, Tertia Beharie, Dina Biagio, David Cochrane, Mark Kemp, Hugh Moubray, Jonathan Whittaker, Mohamed Khader, Louise Myburgh, Eben van Wyk & Charles Webster.
Keith Brown, Partner & Chairman of the Partnership said, “I would like to congratulate our IP Stars on behalf of the firm for this global recognition. The award bears testimony to the team’s consistency and an unwavering commitment to the client.”
