Specialist, full service international intellectual property law firm Spoor & Fisher is celebrating the Client Choice award bestowed on partner Tyron Grant. He is one of only 383 professionals across 68 jurisdictions to receive a Client Choice award this year.

Grant was named the exclusive winner of the Intellectual Property – Patents category for South Africa. He is also one of the handful of specialists in the field of biotechnology and life sciences in South Africa.

Established over a decade ago, Client Choice recognises law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client service they provide and the quality of their counsel. Unlike other awards, nominations for the Client Choice Awards programme are only made by corporate counsel, and this year Client Choice received over 2,500 nominations.

The announcement of the Client Choice awards for 2016 confirms that he is held in high regard by the individuals and entities that make use of his services.

Award recipients are chosen based on a readership survey of subscribers to International Law Office and Lexology, as well as feedback gathered via the Client Choice website.  Nominees are assessed on a broad range of criteria, including the quality of legal advice, commercial awareness, knowledge of the industry, value for money, loyalty and ethics.
