Public entities, including higher education institutions, non-profit organisations and government departments, are urged to attend the practical workshop on the Amended Specialised B-BEE Codes of Good Practice in either Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban on 27, 28, and 30 March respectively.

The workshops take place from 8.30am to 3pm in each city and will be presented by director of Africandi Business Solutions and AQRate KZN, Brigitte Brun as well as managing member of ET Consult, Maxi-Lee Machado, who co-authored the new book, The Practical Guide to the Amended B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.

Highly recommended for entities that are finalising their financial statements and planning the next financial year, the workshop provides expert insight on how to unpack the specialised amended codes and proactively develop transformation strategies, in line with Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment rules and regulations, in order to stay compliant.
Each workshop will cover the various areas, element by element including management control, skills development, enterprise and supplier development (including preferential procurement) and socio-economic development. In addition, the attendees will learn how to calculate their B-BBEE score with practical examples of all the formulae in the codes.

For those unable to attend, The Practical Guide to the Amended B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice book is a valuable guide that provides a practical step-by-step approach to proactively developing transformation strategies in line with B-BBEE rules and regulations. The title is available at LexisNexis online book store and retails for R650 (including Vat, excluding delivery).

For more information on costs or to book a spot in the workshop in any of the regions, contact Dorothy Ottanelli on 031 536 9742 or email admin@africandi.co.za
