SEDIBENG SMMEs CONFERENCE TO IGNITE INCLUSIVE GROWTH

The Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) in collaboration with the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition, Department of Small Business Development and the Sedibeng District Municipality will on Tuesday, 26 October 2021, host the Sedibeng Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMME) Conference under the theme: Reigniting the Sedibeng Economy for Inclusive Growth.

The conference will be hosted in a hybrid format, with about 400 participants attending physically, while others will be able to stream the event on all GPG digital media platforms.

Gauteng Premier, David Makhura together with the Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, Fikile Majola, Deputy Minister of Small Business Development, Sidumo Dlamini and the Gauteng MEC for Economic Development, Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Development, Parks Tau will address the conference. 

The conference builds up on the recent Sedibeng Investment Conference held on 15 October 2021 which brought together various stakeholders, in the public and private sector to deliberate on investment and development initiatives aimed at reigniting  Sedibeng economy.

Government plans to ensure that SMMEs are supported to remove all barriers that may prevent them from meaningfully participating in the economic opportunities that are created in the Sedibeng region.

Venue : Vereeniging City Hall

Time   : 09h00 to 15h00
