The South African Democratic Teachers’ Union in the Eastern Cape wishes all the Matriculants well in their final examinations which signals the end of their 12 years of Basic Education.

We extend the same wishes to all learners in the lower grades as they will eventually reach Grade12 at some point in their lives.

The year has had numerous challenges but we thank our members for their efforts, energy and zeal. We implore them and the learners to double their efforts in this last lap of the year. We call on the learners not to stay at home but to attend revision sessions at schools. We believe this will definitely yield a positive result and lead to an improvement in the results.

We call on all parents and guardians of this Province of the Legends to give the learners their undivided support during this time so that we attain excellent results.
