The Standing Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) has instructed Transnet to appear before the Committee again next week Tuesday to give answers to questions they could not answer today.
The Committee was not satisfied with the answers it received from Transnet and could not finalise the hearing
Next week Scopa will focus more on the issue of vetting for the senior leadership as well as the staff in the supply chain management section of Transnet.
The Committee will also look at the issues of deviations and expansions as well as the allegations of impropriety that have been circulating in the media.
