President Jacob Zuma is scheduled to answer questions for oral reply from Members of the National Assembly at the plenary sitting starting at 14.00 on Thursday.
After the President’s question and answer session, the National Assembly plenary sitting is provisionally scheduled to consider the Protected Disclosures Amendment Bill and a report from the Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services on amendments proposed by the National Council of Provinces.
The Financial Sector Regulation Bill and a report from the Standing Committee on Finance on amendments proposed by the National Council of Provinces.is also provisionally scheduled for consideration.
The National Council of Provinces plenary sitting starting at 14.00 is scheduled to consider the Criminal Procedure Amendment Bill and the report of the Select Committee on Security and Justice on draft Regulations made in terms of the Legal Aid South Africa Act, 2014.
The plenary sitting is also scheduled to hold a policy debate on Budget Vote 36 (Water and Sanitation).
This is the final policy debate of the National Council of Provinces’ budget vote programme. Next week, on Tuesday, the National Council of Provinces is scheduled to consider the Appropriation Bill.
