The Ad Hoc Committee on the Filling of Vacancies in the Commission for Gender Equality has agreed to shortlist 21 candidates to be interviewed for appointment to the Commission for Gender Equality.
The following are the shortlisted candidates:

- Ms_Mfulo_Thandiwe
- Ms_Muthien_Bernedette
- Ms_Mathebula_Tamara
- Prof_Meyersfeld_Bonita
- Ms_Nxumalo_Siphiwe
- Ms_Jafta_Nomvulazana
- Ms_Ntuli_Tloubatla_Lindiwe
- Ms_Moleko_Nthabiseng
- Dr_Sukhraj_Ely_Praveena
- Ms_Stevens_Maziya_Sylvia

The shortlisted candidates will be subjected to an intensive vetting process and verification of qualifications. Public participation in the form of comments on the shortlisted candidates is encouraged in order to have credible Commissioners and assist the Ad-hoc Committee in its task before the interview dates.
The Committee has agreed to schedule interviews over two days on 24 and 27 February 2017.
