The Qwabe community of eNkwenkwezini under the kingship of iNkosi Bonokwakhe Gumede will be embarking on a protest action due to the community and Qwabe Royal Council's dissatisfaction with the manner in which the government has mishandled the Makhosi Khosi Communal Trust.
This has resulted in the community not having access to their ancestral land which further perpetuates their state of poverty as they cannot be self-sufficient.
We invite members of the media and other community members within the Tongaat area to join us in demanding the return of our ancestral land.
The details of the Protest Action are as follows:
Date : Tuesday, 10th May 2022
Time : 9am
Venue : Protest action starts from R102 Fairbreeze in Tongaat to 1 Main Ave, Maidstone Tongaat Hulett.
