Speaker of the National Assembly Ms Baleka Mbete and the Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces Ms Thandi Modise will this afternoon pay a visit to the Soweto home of the late veteran Member of Parliament Ms Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.

Yesterday the Presiding Officers expressed their shock and collective grief over the passing of the Mother of the Nation. Ms Madikizela-Mandela was a founding Members of the democratic Parliament of South Africa in 1994.
