It is very intriguing to inform the public that Baleka Mbete used taxpayers money for a court battle to prohibit the PAC to remove expelled member from the parliament.
We were not surprised to see Mbete defending Mbinda because we know that they are "homboys" and "homegirls", our only concern is that Mbete have overreached her powers as the Speaker to act unlawfully as the Judge and also acted on behalf of the PAC.
Our message to Mbete is very clear, hands off the PAC. Can at least Mbete grant us the PAC some time to perform its expected mandate, that is to be a revolutionary watchdog. Mbete must stop using State resources to frustrate the PAC. The State have used parliament as a vital tool to frustrate the PAC and this dearly affect our electoral fortunes. Our electoral fortunes is engineered so that there will be extinction of the PAC just like AZAPO.
Baleka Mbete have now drawn the battle line against herself and the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC). We have been requesting the Office of the Speaker of the National Assembly to replace the expelled member but we have not seen honour of our dear request.
There is abuse of the office Baleka Mbete occupies, she has overreached her powers as the Speaker to defend an expelled member of the PAC, the Office of the Speaker does not possess any powers to prohibit any party to amend the list or to do anything it pleases with the seat or seats it has in the Parliament.
We have written (ATTACHED) many letters with the office in question and we have been misled that our request was piloted to the legal team since mid-June 2017 but it seems to us that this legal team is either incompetent or Mbete is defending her "homeboy" to remain unlawfully in the parliament without representing any political party.
We have referred this matter to the Public Protector who have been deemed incompetent, we will judge her by the manner in which she will approach this case. We also hope that the office of Adv. Busisiwe Mkhwebane will differ fundamentally with how Mbete is behaving herself around this matter.
