Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) joins millions of South Africans to mourn the untimely death of an actor, radio anchor and musician, Mandla Hlatswayo. He was known as Sphiwe in the popular soapie screened at 20h00, Generation.
He depicted a blind man who was a radio host in Generations. His script was aimed at saying to the so-called disabled that they are able to be who or what they wanted to be in life and that indeed boosted many people's self-esteem. The kind of life he depicted into our screen was synonymous with his real life as both a "soft" someone and a gifted radio personality.
He was also a gifted musician, his album, Jozi Knights took the country by storm and it was also played in neighbouring countries such as Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Lesotho. He was indeed Godsend and for that we appreciate.
We are saying to his lovely family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. We thank you for having borrowed us your talented and gifted son, brother, father and uncle. He will always be remembered in the entertainment industry by next generations to come.
