The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) together with other leaders from AMCU, SOLIDARITY and UASA are scheduled to address workers at a joint-mass meeting, reporting on developments regarding the conditional offer on wages and other conditions of employment tabled by Sibanye-Stillwater during the CCMA conciliation process last week. The purpose of the joint-mass meeting is to get a new mandate from all members of the four trade unions.
The joint-mass meeting set to take place as followed:
Date : 23 November 2021
Time : 4pm
Venue : Masizakhele Stadium in Carletonville.
Speakers : National Office Bearers - NUM, AMCU, SOLIDARITY & UASA
All workers at Kloof, Cooks, Burnstone and Driefontein operations are invited to attend the mass meeting. Unity of workers is non-negotiable.
Members of the media are invited to attend and report.
