Global legal practice, Norton Rose Fulbright, is delighted to announce that Lize Louw, Kirsten Hunt and Patrick Mayer have joined the South African practice.
Lize Louw joins Norton Rose Fulbright as a director in our banking and finance team and will focus on local and cross border energy and infrastructure project finance, asset finance and acquisition finance. Lize has been involved in major transactions for a number of significant international clients in the South African renewable energy independent power producing procurement program whilst she was a director at Werksmans.
Kirsten Hunt joined as an associate in the tax practice, based in Sandton. Kirsten focuses on corporate and international tax. He has experience in mining tax as well as mergers and acquisitions tax in several sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Masters in Commerce (tax).
Patrick Mayer joins Norton Rose Fulbright’s banking and finance team as an associate. Patrick’s focus is project finance, energy and co-generation projects and has experience in advising shareholders, investors and project companies on offshore and onshore lending, gas to liquids and waste heat co-generation projects. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from University of Pretoria.
