Norton Rose Fulbright announces 51 partner promotions globally

Global legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright has today announced a total of 51 partner promotions worldwide.

Female partners account for a significant percentage of all global promotions (19 out of 51 promotions, or 37per cent).

The appointments include nine promotions to the South African equivalent of director and a patent agent promotion in Canada, to the partnership.

The promotions are being made across ten of Norton Rose Fulbright’s global practice and industry groups; corporate, M&A and securities (15); banking and finance (11); dispute resolution and litigation (11); employment and labour (5); intellectual property (3); tax (2); antitrust and competition (1); regulation and investigations (1); occupational health, safety and security (1); and public interest (1).

Peter Martyr, global chief executive, Norton Rose Fulbright, commented:
