Minister in The Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Mr Jeff Radebe, MP, will visit King Sabata Dalindyebo (KSD) Municipality to conduct a service delivery Imbizo.
June is celebrated as Youth Month in South Africa, therefore the Minister will conduct service delivery Imbizo with more emphases on challenges that are affecting youth today. The National Development Plan singles out our youthful population as an opportunity to boost economic growth, increase employment and reduce poverty. The inherent potential in young people can be the catalyst for social change and economic emancipation.
The Imbizo will be preceded by monitoring visits to King Sabatha Dalindyebo Municipality Presidential Intervention (KSD PI) project sites to assess progress made since being launched.
