The Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Advocate Michael Masutha, will brief the media on government’s position on the ruling of the pre-trial chamber of the ICC.
The Pre-Trial Chamber last week ruled that the country acted contrary to its obligations under the Rome Statute of the ICC for failing to execute the international court’s request to arrest President Omar Al-Bashir and surrender him to the ICC between 13 and 15 June 2015 while he was in South Africa.
Minister Masutha will brief the media on government’s position to the ruling as follows:
