Minister Des van Rooyen to hand over boreholes to the O.R Tambo District Municipality

The Minister for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), honourable Des van Rooyen will embark on an outreach programme to OR Tambo District Municipality. The Minister will during this visit, launch and officially hand over boreholes to the O R Tambo District Municipality.

The boreholes donated by CoGTA have been funded through Municipal Infrastructure Grant (MIG), to address the infrastructure backlog and provide water for communities.

The Minister, accompanied by the leadership of the Municipality, will visit various sites where the boreholes are located and the communities benefiting.
