MEC Mashatile and Premier Makhura to launch Rama City Mega Human Settlements Project

The Gauteng Department of Human Settlements MEC Paul Mashatile, will on Thursday 15 February 2018, launch the Rama City Mega Human Settlements Project in the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality as part of addressing housing challenges in the area.

MEC Mashatile will be accompanied by Gauteng Premier David Makhura and the Executive Mayor in the City of Tshwane, Councillor Solly Msimang.

The Rama City Mega Human Settlements Project will yield more than 15 000 units upon completion. Rama City is situated in the north-western part of the City of Tshwane in a 755ha farm next to Ga-Rankuwa and the Rosslyn Industrial Area.

MEC Mashatile will also be accompanied by MEC for Economic Development; Lebogang Maile, MEC for Social Development; Nandi Mayathula-Khoza, MEC for Community Safety; Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane, MEC for Health; Gwen Ramokgopa and MEC for Education; Panyaza Lesufi as part of the Pre- State of the Province series of meetings with communities.
