It was announced earlier today that Spoor & Fisher Partners’ and trade mark attorneys, Louise Myburgh and Megan Reimers, have been named in Managing Intellectual Property’s (MIP’s) global Top 250 Women in IP list.
MIP’s Top 250 Women in IP list was launched in 2013 and recognises leading female IP practitioners in private practice who have demonstrated exceptional performance over the past year. The selection process also factors in practitioners’ involvement in the IP community as well as corporate social responsibility initiatives.
This is the second year running that Cape Town based Partner, Louise Myburgh, makes the list.
“We take this opportunity to congratulate both Louise and Megan for this prestigious recognition which is a testament to their leadership and legal acumen,” says Jonathan Whittaker, Executive Chairman of Spoor & Fisher.
The Top 250 Women In IP are selected from the IP Stars list, a specialist guide to intellectual property firms and practitioners. The IP Stars 2019 includes 15 partners from Spoor & Fisher.
MIP produces its annual directory using independent research and information provided by thousands of firms, IP practitioners and their clients.
