A few months ago I declared my intention to convene a national taxi indaba, which will emerge with a ground-breaking compact that will take the transformation of the taxi industry to its logical conclusion. The outcomes of this Lekgotla will not be lip service, but a tangible and achievable programme of action that will set
the industry on a sustainable path.
