The Federation has over the past months been engaged in a mobilisation program throughout the province mobilising workers and communities to attend the national celebrations.

In the process of engaging members and the communities we have been confronted with the challenges that our members are facing on daily basis. We have vowed to address all this challenges as part of our Back Basics programme.

In the remaining three days we will conduct blitz inspection with the department of employment and labour in a number of workplaces in Bojanala area. We will also be doing community visits; loud hailing and pamphleteering in deferent areas in and around Phokeng and Rustenburg.

COSATU and its affiliates will be providing transports for its members and the communities to attend the rally. There will also be performance by national and provincial artist to entertain the attendees to the rally.
