The participants will include surviving unsung heroes of the June 16 Detachment from various Liberation Movements such as Mkhonto we Sizwe (MK), Azanian People’s Liberation Army Military (APLA) and Azanian Liberation Army (AZANLA) who have fought for freedom, injustice and democracy and children of military veterans who received the DMV education support benefit, and have since completed their studies.
