Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi and Deputy Minister Pam Tshwete will host the Human Settlements Media Breakfast to unpack South Africa’s first National Report on the Implementation of the New Urban Agenda (NUA)
The report seeks to continue broader stakeholder engagements on collaborative mechanisms, tools and methodology that have been developed to address urbanisation in a way that achieves the country’s human settlements vision.
The Minister and Deputy Minister will also host a roundtable discussion with women in the human settlements sector to discuss amongst other things, challenges that women are facing such as the lack of home ownership; gender based violence; femicide; and impact of unemployment and poverty among women.
