Hlaudi Motsoeneng’s lawyer says his client won’t be going to work on Tuesday, Netwerk24 reported.
Zola Majavu said he’d advised Motsoeneng to stay away from work.
He said he’d written to the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) on Monday asking what to do, because Motsoeneng hadn’t appointed himself.
He hadn’t heard from the SABC by Tuesday morning and he advised his client to stay away from work.
The Western Cape High Court in Cape Town ruled on Monday that the appointment of the former SABC COO and now Group Executive for Corporate Affairs was unconstitutional, illegal and invalid.
