The Minister of Social Development, Ms Bathabile Dlamini wishes to put it on record that she does not have any Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Minister Dlamini’s Twitter (@dlaminibatha) and Facebook accounts were deactivated in January 2017. Minister Dlamini advises the public that she is currently not on any social media platforms.

Minister Dlamini therefore distances herself from posts on fake Facebook and parody Twitter accounts which have been illegally setup in her name.

We will not be detracted from our mandate to drive Government’s social assistance programme and improve the living conditions of poor, vulnerable and underprivileged South Africans.
