Rand Water resumed the purification and pumping of water at its Zuikerbosch Water Treatment Works (ZWTW) in the early morning of the 27th September 2021 after the plant experienced power outage yesterday afternoon, the 26th September 2021.
This after Eskom partially restored power at 17h45, due to undervoltage, with full restoration only achieved before midnight.
