The Department of Water and Sanitation screens the dams within the Limpopo Province and the status for this week still remain the same as compared to the previous week.

The Nandoni dam is at 57% whilst the Magoebaskloof is at 10, 20%. There are dams such as Glen Alpine which have almost to nothing with just 2, 50%, Nsami at 8, 60%.

These percentages shows that more rain is needed in order to fill the dams.

Communities are therefore encouraged to use water sparingly especially those that are living where there water levels are very low and the department will continue together with the municipalities will continue to provide water tanks where there is no water at all.
