The workshop will also include training on the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Regulations under the Air Quality Act, which forms a critical component of the carbon tax regime.

Any organisation falling within the ambit of the Carbon Tax Act or the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Regulations should attend this workshop, including companies in the energy, mining, transport, waste and chemicals industries. Government officials dealing with carbon tax, greenhouse gas reporting or climate change legislation should also attend.

Peggy Schoeman, one of IMBEWU’s Senior Sustainability Legal Consultants, will be presenting the Carbon Tax Workshop. Peggy has run a number of workshops on various developments in environmental law. For a copy of Peggy’s CV, please go to http://imbewu.co.za/meet-the-team/
