Trade and Industry Deputy Minister Mzwandile Masina will later this week address the Nigeria-South Africa Chamber of Commerce (NSACC) breakfast forum.
“The NSACC is probably the most vibrant and active Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria and was set up in 2000 to promote bilateral trade relations between Nigeria and South Africa,” said Masina.
The NSACC is scheduled for Thursday in Lagos, Nigeria.
The breakfast forum will be hosted by Brand SA and will discuss Africa’s competitiveness.
Deputy Minister Masina said with the trade volumes being recorded within Africa, countries can trade successfully with each other.
“The forum will also facilitate opportunities for intra-Africa trade and discuss ways through which African countries can collaborate to ensure growth of its economies,” he said.
Members of the NSACC include Stanbic IBTC Bank, Honeywell Group, Philips Consulting, Old Mutual, First Bank, South African Airways, Southern Sun, MTN, Multichoice, SAB Miller and Unilever.
