DEPUTY MINISTER MANANA AND FORMER BENEFICIARIES TO VISIT NSFAS OFFICES TO MARK 25TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY

The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Mduduzi Manana will visit the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) Head Offices in Cape Town on Thursday, 10 November 2016, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the institution. He will meet with management and thereafter do a walkabout of the facility before joining the call centre team to receive and respond to caller enquiries.

The Deputy Minister and his guests will use the platform by spending a day at NSFAS call centre to field calls from the public as well as issue a public call to learners to submit their 2017 NSFAS applications before applications close on 30 November 2016.

This visit forms part of the Deputy Minister’s monitoring work on various entities of the Department of Higher Education and Training. The Deputy Minister will be joined by NSFAS Executive Officer Mr Msulwa Daca in a media briefing during the visit.
