Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Ms Pinky Kekana, will visit service delivery sites/facilities in the Waterberg District Municipality in the Limpopo Province from 22nd to 24th March 2022. 

She will officiate the opening of two 4IR Learner Boot Camps at Mabogopedi High School and Thekganang High School Camp introducing learners to digital skills as such as coding, robotics, cloud computing and cybersecurity, amongst others. The programme is a partnership between Department of Education, CSIR, Nokia and the Forge Academy.

She will also visit Thabang Child and Youth Care Centre, Smash Block Drop-in Centre Thabazimbi and Vaalwater Police Station’s Victim Friendly Rooms (VFR) and Thuthuzela Care Centre in Mokopane to create awareness on Gender-Based Violence & Femicide (GBVF). 

She will conclude with a visit to MGR Hospital in Modimolle to facilitate a discussion with Health care workers from Modimolle-Mookgophong and Bela-Bela Local Municipalities on Vaccine intake hesitancy.
