ANC willing to discuss date with MK veterans
NFP postpones National Policy Conference
And, NSFAS to announce decisions on 2017 applicants
The ANC says it is willing to engage the party's veterans who are calling for a consultative conference to be held separately from the policy conference in 2017.
In November the ANC's National Executive Committee had agreed to extend the policy conference and to dedicate the first two days of it to deal with issues of organisational renewal.
ANC spokesperson Zizi Kodwa said his party would continue to engage with the veterans.
The NFP has postponed its National Policy Conference which was scheduled for this weekend.
NFP Acting National Chairperson Bheki Gumbi said the decision to postpone their policy conference was due to minor glitches encountered during the preparatory phase.
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme will today brief the media on the outcomes of its applications for funding.
Applications closed on November 30.
Higher Education Deputy Minister Mduduzi Manana said on November 16 that not enough prospective students were applying for funding, which was worrying.
