The DA is thrilled to have retained Ward 39 in Polokwane, winning yesterday’s hotly contested by-election.
This vote of confidence in the DA shows that the people of Polokwane put their support behind the only party with a proven track record of delivery, and the only party with momentum to win in more and more places.
The vacancy in this Ward occurred after the previous Ward Councillor, Adv. Franco Marx, took up a seat in the Limpopo Legislature.
We congratulate councillor Rita James on her election, and we are confident that she will serve this ward with distinction.
We thank the residents who voted for the DA yesterday, who continue to stand with the DA, and who helped to keep ward 39 BLUE!
