The DA in Ugu District is saddened to learn of the passing of the Ugu District Mayor, Councillor Phumlile Mthiyane today. This follows the passing of the Municipal Manager on Saturday, Dr Elliot Ntombela.
We extend our sincere condolences to both their families and loved ones.
This is indeed a tragic week for the District to have lost two leaders, in such crucial roles within two days.
We are keeping their families on our thoughts and prayers during this tragic time.
