On 8 October 2015, the Western Cape Citrus Producers Forum, which is currently known as “Summer Citrus” applied to the Competition Commission of South Africa (“the Commission”) in terms of section 10(1) of the Competition Act, No. 89 of 1998, as amended (“the Act”) to be exempted from certain provisions of Chapter 2 of the Act.
