The City’s Water and Sanitation Directorate will be diverting traffic from Klein Constantia Road on Monday, 14 November 2022 and Tuesday, 15 November 2022. This will enable the safe completion of road resurfacing work following the completion of the water mains replacement along this road. Read more below:

The diversion involves rerouting traffic from Klein Constantia Road to Croft Road, then to Pagasvlei Road, and back to Klein Constantia Road (and vice versa if driving in the opposite direction). The diversion will commence on Monday, 14 November 2022, at 08:00 and will be removed on Tuesday, 15 November 2022, at 17:00. Road resurfacing is weather dependent, therefore if rain is experienced during this period, the diversion duration may be extended to ensure the safe completion of road resurfacing along Klein Constantia Road.

This diversion is likely to increase travelling time for road users transiting along Klein Constantia Road.  Road users are advised to plan their travelling time accordingly.

This work forms part of the Water and Sanitation Directorate’s pipe replacement programme which addresses the need for water supply network upgrades, in particular the distribution system to consumers.

The City sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused.
