The Centre for Competition, Regulation and Economic Development (CCRED) is proud to present the November issue of the CCRED Quarterly Review.

Included in the Review are the details of the 2nd Annual Competition and Economic Regulation Week, Southern Africa in Livingstone Zambia from 08 – 12 March 2016. The week consists of four intensive short learning programmes and a conference. Delegates can attend either or both the courses and conference.

The conference is co-hosted with the Energy Regulation Board of Zambia and the National Energy Regulator of South Africa and will address issues of direct interest to competition authorities and economic regulators in southern Africa. Key speakers include Professor Patrick Rey of University of Toulouse, Professor Bill Kovacic of George Washington University and former chair of the FTC, and the heads of competition authorities across the region.
