The Black Business Council (BBC) lauds the election of Dr Precious Moloi–Motsepe as the new Chancellor of the University of Cape Town (UCT). She assumes her role as Chancellor on 01 January 2020.

Dr Moloi–Motsepe began her career in medicine as a general practitioner and subsequently combined her business astuteness and philanthropy to make significant inroads in various humanitarian responsibilities.

“Dr Moloi–Motsepe has inspired countless South Africans with her humanitarian ventures. Her roles heading various organisations and institutions in areas of business and charity work will undoubtedly benefit both the UCT as well as the tertiary education sector in general” says BBC President Sandile Zungu.
